Dogtopia of Bethesda

My two dogs can barely wait to get through the front door at Dogtopia and say hello to their daycare friends (dogs and people).

I am grateful for an outlet that allows my dogs to play & burn energy. I especially love the web camera so I can check-in on them throughout the day. I also like the dog activity tracker!

We have used daycare (2 times a week) and overnight boarding without any issues.

Great staff, clean and healthy environment.

Our pup, Hydrangea, loves coming here almost every day! The staff are very kind and they are friendly with each individual dog. They remember me when I come to pick up Hydra and are always very helpful and attentive to her needs. Plus, the periodic photo days are adorable.

We highly recommend Dogtopia Bethesda. We started bringing our high energy rescue puppy in for play dates when he was 5 months old and the opportunity to socialize and play with other dogs has been amazing for him. The staff transitioned him and his buddy into the room with the bigger dogs when he was ready and he loves it there. The staff are great with communication and knowledgeable about how to provide a safe play environment for all the dogs. We really appreciate how friendly and welcoming they are.. We honestly don’t know what we would have done without this space for him to play and get exercise as he has grown up. We are really grateful to all of the staff for their care and love for our pet.

Pretty disappointing. Desk staff is friendly but they take in way to many dogs for the size of their operation. My energetic one year old seems to get locked in a crate most of the day. He comes home energetic and agitated and he can't hardly bark any more. Not what I am looking for in a doggy play day. He's supposed to be getting a chance to run around and play.

My poor dog came back severely depressed 😔 never again.

I’m amazed of how kind they are and how willing they are to work with me, specially considering how busy my military life is.
They are Always willing to work with me.
Dog daycare isn’t cheap (Specially, for a military budget) but It is certainly the most affordable one in comparison to other places around.

I like that the canine coaches are very attentive to the dogs and immediately deal with any aggressive play or behavior. Staff also keeps the rooms clean and cleans up any messes right after they happen. I also enjoy that they have special days and activities for the dogs and will do cute photos for a 5$ fee. Wendell's prom and Olympic photos are the best and they are proudly displayed on my fridge and in my office :) Most importantly, my dog loves it, has been going since he was a puppy, and has made several friends with other regulars :)

I like that the facility is clean and calm with not too many dogs in the same room. My pup usually sleeps most of the day because I’m working at home in a quiet house, so I wanted to ensure that he would be able to find a cozy corner to snooze if he wanted to. I also love that they seperate the big dogs from the little dogs. During the meet and greet, the front desk receptionist and dog handler were super friendly and made me feel comfortable leaving my fur-baby with them and the other little dogs for a few hours. He aced his report card and I’m so proud! I’m looking forward to bringing him back for the days I work in the office, which is walking distance from Dogtopia!

Dogtopia associates are great with the dogs in their care. The staff are friendly and professional.
