Went to NORAK as a drop-in for almost two weeks while in Winnipeg for work! They facility is great, the staff knew their coaching and the people were great. After the first few days, it was like I'd been going there for years. They knew me, my name, and I had my 'spot' on the floor. They do some serious stretching at the end of a warmup that I will keep doing at my home gym! If you're in Winnipeg and need a solid workout, this is the place.

i sashayed into the gym one day, a heavy middle aged lady who likes the outdoors and wanted to see what else i can do. they welcomed me, they encouraged me, they taught me and made me do things i never thought i could ever do. actually, watching them move made me want to do things i never thought i could ever do (including hitting the gym at 6am!).i still sashay into the gym at 6am and now i can do more than i ever did. i'm at my strongest my entire life, and there are more i'm hoping to be able to do some day.the greatest thing, though, is that norak, the coaches, the community, makes the process fun and encouraging. and they tolerate all my grunting and moaning.
