Winthrop Eye Center is where its at! I got my eyes checked today, and the whole team was incredible! The last time I got my eyes checked was 5 years ago at another office, and I had such a horrible experience I refused to go back until it was absolutely necessary. My glasses have been crooked for over a year, and my vision recently declined, so I decided to make an appointment at WEC based off a friends recommendation - and they did not disappoint! Dr. Gerow was so nice and helpful, and really made sure I got the right prescription I needed. I was upset to change frames since I've had my old pair for 5+ years now, and the WHOLE office helped me choose the right frame...read full review

It was a pleasure meeting Dr Gerow. She is very thorough, caring and knowledgeable! She answered all my questions about my eye health and help me find the perfect prescription and frames for my eyes!

Everyone was kind and welcoming, I had left my glasses there for awhile because of health issues (I was unable to pick them up) and they kept them safe for me. They were kind and didn't care that I was trans. Which meant the world to me.I have always hated eye appointments because I usually have to get that uncomfortable puff of air, but they were kind and prepped me for it. I couldn't ask for a better team to help!
