Emerson Medical at Sudbury has caring and reliable primary care providers. The lab staff are excellent, especially for blood draws, though waiting for labs can be slow at times. One primary care provider is described as fantastic and very thorough, taking time to talk about concerns and scheduling the next appointment directly. However, the front desk service can be very slow, with one staff member noted for poor job performance and delays that led to a serious issue.
Dr. McShine is wonderful. Thoughtful, caring and thorough.
Warning - walk in lab tests are unavailable from 12:15 to 1pm! If you arrive at noon you may have to wait or just avoid the lunch hour
I’ve been seeing Dr. McShine for years, and I can honestly say he’s one of the best physicians I’ve ever had. He is consistently caring, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. With my specific and sometimes complex health concerns, he always listens closely, takes everything seriously, and explains things in a way that makes me feel heard and supported rather than rushed.
He’s the kind of doctor who remembers your history, follows up, and genuinely wants you to feel better.
