I'm so pleased to have discovered this gem of a salon in Melrose! Due to Covid, it's easily been a year since my last cut and I've had reservations about safety in terms of going to any salon. I rarely write reviews, but if others are on the fence, this salon takes Covid safety very seriously and I'm so pleased with their precautions and scheduling approach. It's incredibly refreshing to find a salon that is also environmentally conscious. I showed up today completely on the fence about what I wanted done to my overgrown, curly hair and Kimberly's experience and guidance shined through. I don't think that I have ever developed such a deep level of trust with a hair artist as I have with Kimberly. She was the first person I went to when I moved to Boston more than seven years ago, and I have gladly followed her from her Newbury Street setting to outside of downtown as she established her own eco-friendly salon. Kimberly not only has an eye for flattering cuts but an impressive skill and flair for creative coloring. Kim is the best. I have visited both her new location and also her Newbury Street studio and I cannot rave about her work enough. She is superbly efficient, light hearted and friendly, experienced, and so caring of whatever your reason for visiting. Everytime I finish an appointment, look in the mirror and think "Haven't I always looked this good?" because she knows exactly how each client envisions their "happiest hair."
