This was the worst healthcare facility we've collectively experienced. The people (aside from one part timer) at the desk is the beginning of your horrible experience. It doesn't get better from there. The facility is DIRTY. They don't have properly working HVAC or sinks. They don't provide soap in the bathrooms at all times. In my mother's two week stay with me visiting at different times every single day, I did not see ONE maintenance worker or janitorial worker. I'm not sure if they have them. Now we can skip ahead to the actual care. It was absolutely etrocious. They 100% ignkre their patience. Not only do they not take the time to explain things to them (or their family) but they don't answer questions. They don't come when you call for them. Their conditions are so poor that my mother developed CDiff and had to stay more than a week than they had anticipated. They did not help her use the restroom. They did not help her clean herself. They did not listen to any of our concerns. The case manager, Christine, I believe, was the worst part of the whole experience. She is incredibly condescending. She refuses to listen to a y concerns and throws a lot of smoke and mirrors when asked a question. She doesn't take calls, skips appointments that she sets. Honestly, she was so bad, she should not be able to work in this industry at all. I don't know how she still has a job. And, while we were incredibly relieved to have our mother out of there, she was nowhere near ready to leave. She's been out for 3 weeks and still can't function normally and apparently, that is fine with Encompass? I honestly don't know how this place has not been shit down. It's an absolute train wreck. This is NOT the same as it was when it was Braintree Rehab. Do NOT be fooled. Don't allow your loved ones to step foot through the door here.

Nothing I have experienced could have prepared me for a stay at Encompass after a few days in NE Baptist Hospital Surgical ICU. Everything was a clown show. My room was disgusting, with the bathroom a disgusting mess with the john covered in human feces. In addition to this, the staff at Encompass were ill-equipped to put together an effective pain management schedule. Every minute stress and anxiety levels were out of control. The individual PT's OT's etc were great people but could not move the needle on how horrible my overall experience was like.

My husband was admitted after a long stay at Beth Israel Hospital. He was on dialysis and this was what we thought was a good option for him. He was over-medicated and went by ambulance to South Shore Hospital where he was in a coma for a week. He never really recovered at South Shore because they never got him up out of bed and was released to a nursing home on Cape Cod. He passed away after 4 days because they said he fell out of bed. Not possible because he could not even feed himself as he had no strength.

Boy, I don't understand all the negativity about this place. First..the nursing staff is outstanding. Attentive, caring, and upbeat. The PT and OT can't be beat. They came up with a plan and what a plan. By my discharge I was proficient in walking with walker, climbing steps, taking care of my self. Made the transition to home very successful. I saw my doctor at least once daily Complaints about food do not make sense. This not a 5 star restaurant. You have multiple choice each meal. I appreciated the nourishment choice for me. Perfect size portions. I have been some major hospitals and their food stacks up well. The main part of the hospital is an older building. But they have and are remodeling it. My room was cleaned daily and my wife who is a clean freak, had nothing bad to say. The large gym was fantastic. Lots of space and a beehive of activity. It was a bit cold but rather chilly than hot Overall great experience. Recommend highly

My father was a patient and they didn't give him the medications he needed directly resulting in a seizure. Absolute NEGLIGENCE! The place was filthy with sticky floors and poor service and no patience with the patients. Doctors weren't available and nurses provided empty promise after empty promise. It's laughable to even call this place a rehabiltation center.

The nurse Shanae is totally amazing here in Framingham. If you ever have to come here demand she be your nurse. She has patience and understands your pain💞

No communication from doctors, they released my mother after a 10 day stay without the ability to stand or transfer without assistance and we are expected to care for her at home with no training or aids on how to maneuver someone who is unable to ambulate without assistance. Horrible.

They all so wonderful here. PT, OT, nurses, aids. I would recommend anybody to come here they help you out and get you back walking again doing things that you couldn’t think you could do. Ty
