TL;DR If you have a large breed that's energetic it's probably not going to work out for you! The staff was super friendly and kind to us, but they had difficulty handling our two 8 month old husky/shepherd mixes with a large group. They're a very energetic breed and at a hyperactive age so we didn't expect them to be super chill, but we take them to the dog park everyday 2x a day and can confirm they just play like huskies do. They were too much for the staff to manage, which is fine, though we were anticipating the staff to be experienced with all types of breeds/etc and were disappointed it didn't work out. My little guy gets so excited as we get close to Elliot's House; he can never wait to start playing with all his pup friends (and make new ones). I've been trying to get him here at least once a week, but may bump it up to two now that the weather is getting colder and the days darker. When I pick him up he's usually really amped from all the playtime, but after dinner quickly settles and chills with my husband and I on the couch - a tall order, as he is firmly in his angsty teen puppy phase. Can’t say enough good about this place. My pup looks forward to going every morning. And when we pick him up, he tries to run back inside (which is definitely...humbling as a parent, but makes me so happy to know he feels happy and safe there)! They also post really adorable, annotated pics throughout the day of the puppies on Instagram, so if you don’t have a social media, then get one! My partner and I look forward to getting the pics all day and send them to our family and friends. We also get daily report cards, which give us a sense of who he is playing with and how he’s behaving! Seriously, such a great day care! Looking forward to trying grooming next.
