We used Little Groove for my son’s 4th birthday party and it was amazing! They were so easy to work with and had great communication throughout the entire planning process. Tommy arrived early, and had 20 kids fully engaged and giggling the entire time. He brought a variety of toys (maracas, puppets, drums, parachute, etc) which the kids loved and also allowed them to participate in a variety of ways. I can’t say enough good things about little groove and I highly recommend them

These baby and toddler music classes are great! As a nanny, I have been going to them for years and always ask the parents to sign their kids up as soon as possible! All "teachers" and assistants are absolutely friendly, patient, outgoing and really nice people. These classes are a great opportunity for the babies/kids to interact with lots of kids their age as well as for the parents/care givers to do some socializing and potentially set up play dates with new friends (for themselves as well as for the kids!!). It's also a great excuse to get out of the house in the Boston winter when all you want to do is curl up on the couch with your baby and a blanket. The advantage I see of those classes over say library music classes is that with these you have a guarantee the "teacher" will be attentive and friendly, whereas with library classes, that isn't always the case, unfortunately. It's also easier to socialize (kids and adults) since the enrolled ones in each session are always the same and best of all (in my opinion), you dint relay on having to sign up for them every week you decide to show up. Once is enough and you have plenty of classes to go to. As opposed to certain libraries that get so busy, you can only attend a class if you managed to sign up for it earlier that same day, which isn't always possible. If I were you, I wouldn't think twice! Sign them up today! It's nanny recommended!

Little Groove Music & Art was a fantastic way for my son and I to explore art in an environment that was low-stakes, fun and messy (in a good way). Every week, we went to the Calderwood to take a class that was built around a theme (transportation, animals, spring, etc.) for about 45 minutes. There were stations, so the children (12mos-5years) were able to spend as much time as they wanted at each station (I loved that there was always a sensory play area as well as some water play for some weeks). There was always some sort of easy take-home art project that, given the patience of your child, was a project that either you did with them together or you did yourself. It's all about the parent-kid time, though! Most importantly, Sara, the founder, is always open to feedback and suggestions. They seriously want you to enjoy your time together. I genuinely loved the classes and plan on taking more of them (music, next time), as I found these classes the perfect way to spend our time while giving us something to do after work (the class was at 4:30). And here's the genius part: you don't have to clean up anything. Nope. When the class is over, the LGM staff puts everything away. I loved that I could bring my boy, we could get messy, and I didn't have to give myself a headache screwing tops back on paint bottles or mopping up water. That, indeed, makes this entire experience a winner.
