    We love working with Offshoots. Kate Kennen and her talented team are highly knowledgeable and passionate about their work. Their attention to detail, commitment to creating sustainable landscapes and ability to translate their designs to successful landscape installations is a unique skill set not often found in residential design. Offshoots is a hybrid practice offering landscape architecture, landscape installation and fine gardening services. We focus on creating sustainable, ecologically connected landscapes that are lower maintenance and less resource-intensive. We specialize in phytoremediation consulting and productive landscape installation services with specialty horticulture. Public and residential landscapes in the US are typically driven by aesthetics, often consuming excessive amounts fossil fuels, water and natural resources. We believe there is a different way. We create urbanism and landscapes that are sustainable, organic, and contribute to natural ecologies.
