I’m training for a marathon, work a demanding job and am a mom. And I’m injured. 😩 I don’t have time to travel to and from BU 2X weekly for PT for my hip. So skip the marathon? Heck, no! Enter Louise Donlon and virtual PT! I admit, I was skeptical. Virtual? But, trust me, it is so much more convenient, and honestly, more effective than in-person. I can wrap up a work meeting and start a PT session literally minutes later. No traveling, I just log on. Also incredible is the focused attention a one-on-one session allows. We can zone in on exactly what’s going on with my hip. Louise can see me doing exercises or movements and we can discuss uninterrupted, which is really nice. We also pull up videos of me running to review how my body is responding to PT. So even if I could get to the PT office at BU, which I can’t, this type of personalized care is not possible in the office. And I feel well qualified to make that assessment because I’ve been to Louise for PT before in person. It was great, but this is even better! I hope the virtual option remains long after the pandemic is behind us. And of course, Louise. I recommend her, too. She’s the best! 😃

Louise Donlon was incredible. I did telemedicine with her this past spring/summer after living with significant pain from an injury. I was unable to sit for even short periods of time, and was constantly taking Motrin. Telemedicine was convenient, easy, and effective. We not only focused on helpful, healing exercises, but she also changed the way I approached exercise and strength training overall, allowing for me to not only heal from my injury, but drastically improving my long term health and fitness level. I can’t say enough about my experience. I will be forever grateful. I am now able to exercise the way that I want to, and should, and have effectively incorporated all I learned into my daily routines, not only with exercise, but tools to change the way I approach regular day to day activity that formerly caused me pain. I can’t recommend it enough.
