Incredible environment for kids to learn an incredible, martial arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! It's a very family oriented environment and Professor Lott has passion, strong morals and top notch pedigree and knowledge. Great for practical self defense for all ages along with focus and excercise!
I have been going to Excelsior Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for years, and Professor Nathan is AMAZING with kids, he is funny while still being professional, and Ms. Alayna is great too. As well as Mr. Brayden, Ms. Alissa, and last but not least Mr. Adriano, but we call him Mr. Carl. Parents, this is a MUST SEE for kids as well as adults. They have an early kids class starting at 4:45 PM, then they have a later kids class starting at 5:30 PM. Then the adult class starts around 6:15 PM. You've gotta sign up here, it's OUTSTANDING!
I train at an associated academy in Baton Rouge and have dropped in on some weekend classes at Excelsior. Professor Lott was very welcoming and encourages me to come back to train whenever I can make it. The students there are wonderful. They were accepting of me and I learned something from every person that I rolled with. The academy is spacious and clean. It is a great environment to learn and to improve yourself.
