He has practiced in the District, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of the state of Louisiana. He has also practiced in the United States District and Court of Appeal and even filed pleadings with the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association; Acadia Parish Bar Association, where he is a past president; and the Lafayette Parish Bar Association.
