My wife and I recently had a complete new roof for our entire house and attached garage/carport installed by Burks Framing and Roofing, a local metro area small business. As part of the project, some roof decking wood also had to be replaced. In addition, entire front of house sections of soffit and facia boards required replacing. We chose to use "Hardie Board" material for this repair, which presented no problems to the crew. Owner Nicholas Burks is very professional, friendly, and communicative, and holds a BS Degree in Construction. We have used Burks Construction for numerous projects including a whole house renovation, as well as reroofing the entire house (which had three different types of roofing!). Nick and his crew were always prompt, always professional, and extremely thorough, even when we had some initial leak issues. Nick and his crew did a fantastic job totally rebuilding all 4 of my backyard decks including the largest which was over a lake. It was total pleasure working with he and his crew. The personal touches Nick included, the craftsmanship and attention to detail is great. I always get compliments from visitors on my new decks. I would definitely use Burks Construction again and certainly do recommend them to others.
