We have been coming to the Norton Commons Sit Still location since shortly after it opened. They have seen our family grow from one to two kiddos and both of our littles are beyond excited when it’s time for a salon visit. Gabby is absolutely amazing with both our 6 year old daughter and 1 year old son. Not only is she great with the kids, but she always does an amazing job on their hair. Absolutely Amazing Experience at Sit Still!

We cannot recommend Sit Still enough — especially Emma! Our 2-year-old has always been a handful during haircuts. Every other place we tried turned into a meltdown or a struggle, and we honestly dreaded haircut days. But Sit Still changed everything.

The moment we walked in, we could tell this place was different. They had toys, a little car chair for him to sit in, and the whole atmosphere was made for kids. Emma was incredible — patient, calm, and you can tell she truly understands how to work with young children. She used techniques that made him comfortable, relaxed, and actually happy to be there.

For the first time ever, he sat perfectly still. No tears, no anxiety, no fighting. He was having fun the whole time, and by the end, he looked better than he ever has. Like, this was a night-and-day difference compared to every other haircut experience we’ve had.

If you have a toddler who hates haircuts, or you just want someone who genuinely knows how to create a positive experience for kids, go to Sit Still and ask for Emma. She’s a miracle worker.

We’ll never take him anywhere else.

Highly recommend! This was my 2.5 year olds first cut and they made our experience so great! Cora was absolutely amazing! She was so patient and engaging with my son. Not to mention his haircut is so cute and exactly what I was envisioning. We will absolutely be back to see her!

Absolutely wonderful experience here. My son is extremely shy and usually just buries his head in me or his dad hiding when he gets overwhelmed. It took him literally under a minute to warm up today and the whole time was such an enjoyable experience. Dawn was so gentle and patient with our boy. And to top it off, she did amazing with his haircut despite him squirming. It was such a good environment that not only did he not cry, he actually seemed to have a good time. We will never go anywhere else for his haircuts. We absolutely recommend!

We had a great experience at Sit Still in Norton Commons. It was our son’s first haircut. Caroline and the entire staff were very welcoming and sweet with him. The prices are a tad high (IMO) but otherwise, we will definitely be back!

My son recently got a short haircut with Lauren. She was super interactive with my son and made the experience fun for him.

Update: Kate is also fantastic. Would def recommend. She was kind and very gentle with my son getting a short hair cut.

Sit Still serves the perfect environment for kids to get their hair cut! It starts with their fun chairs and continues with the hospitality. They allow your child to play with toys and/or watch something, we chose Bluey most recently, to keep them entertained during their cut. I've taken my son (currently 19 mos) here since he was just under a year old & I have loved it each time. We like to see Kate but I'm sure you'll be satisfied with any stylist.
