I am a one man business. I have been refinishing bathtubs since 1984. I started Tub Doctor Inc. 1998. I give a 10 year warranty for peeling or flaking. I etch the tub with hydrofluoric acid. Tub is primed with a epoxy etching primer then it is topcoated with a polyurethane with a integrated glass bead. Clear coat is added to the final coat for extra hardness. I do need to have the drain installed, because I have to use water in the prepping process. I normally will remove the drain if possible after etching rather then taping it off. That way if the drain needs to be removed in the future your not going to have a problem with material peeling up. Drain and overflow cover and caulk can be installed the next day.
