This is my second time getting my hair done by Angela Guy! She has done a fantastic job every single time. She is so professional, easy to talk to, a lot of fun!!! So grateful for her and her work! Highly recommend! I have been transitioning into a blonde from dark hair and she has done a wonderful job at getting me where I want to be! I am obsessed π

Man I really wanted to still love this place but I would NOT come here for color, ever. I came back here after a few years, back then they had some seasoned stylist and did great work....now it is a salon full of very young fresh out of school ladies who are more worried about doing each others hair at the washing stations than clients.
I had highlights done on a Thursday night and she ruuuuuuuined my hair, huge patchy chunks of bleeding uneven highlights and my hair was fried. I had no choice but to come back the next day and have someone else 'try to fix it'....she made it tolerable but my hair was just so done for after a double color and lack of bleaching knowledge. So unfortunate
The owner didn't have a great attitude. She didn't charge me for the color fix but all she did was give excuse after excuse for why my hair look the way it did and not once did anyone take responsibility for the mishap.
I've been getting my hair highlighted for 20yrs I am not new to what quality color should be. Maybe they're good at other stuff but not color. Go somewhere else

I wanted to clarify what happened with my appointments. I came on the day my hair coloring was scheduled, and I was told you couldnβt do the color and offered a haircut instead. I said no, and we agreed to make another appointment.
However the day before the new appointment, I received from you canceling it or something, the was confusing and disappointing because I had booked in advance and followed all instructions.
I just want to make it clear that i did everything on my side, and the issues were caused by the salonβs scheduling, I hope you understand why I was frustrated.

My 18YO dark blonde daughter booked an appointment with a stylist to get the ends of her hair dyed darker to match her natural blonde at the roots. The very new stylist misunderstood and (long story and many hours later) my daughter ended up light brown with a tinge of green instead of blonde. The experience with the new stylist wasn't great. We reached out to the salon, and Holly, the owner, helped me understand that they are a teaching shop and she and the experienced stylists love to help the new stylists get experience; the shop also stands by their work, no matter the experience level of the stylist. They quickly squeezed in my daughter with another stylist who, under the guidance of Hailey, the salon manager, did a clarifying wash to help pull out some of the color and left her with orange highlights; they booked her again 2 days later for blonde highlights, the hopeful final color correction. We went home and my daughter spent 2 days washing with a purple shampoo to tame the orange. When she went back, the shop owner advised and assisted the 2nd stylist with highlighting my daughter's hair. At the completion of the services, my daughter's hair is almost exactly her natural color and looks and feels amazing and healthy.
Hair is a tricky thing, especially when dealing with color. It takes experience and patience to get good at it. I've had experiences in my life where stylists have left me with color I wasn't happy with and never attempted to fix it, stating that color can be a gamble.
Wicked Scissors is not such a place; Holly the owner and Hailey the salon manager take great pride in the quality of work of their stylists and the reputation of the salon. They really wanted to make this right for my daughter and spent hours to ensure there was a fix we all felt good about.
I think reviews that show the perfect expertise of a place are awesome, but sometimes it's equally important to know that a salon will stand by their work when something goes wrong -- especially when dealing with color which is so tricky. This dedication to beautiful hair and a smiling client is why Wicked Scissors gets a 5-Star review instead of a 1-Star review. Yes, there was a mess up which Holly explained would be a teaching opportunity for the new stylist. And beyond that, the salon ate hours and money to ensure we walked away happy. THIS is the kind of place where you want to get your hair done. A place where they listen with understanding and empathy to ensure you feel beautiful when they're done, come what may.

Chelsey Ratliff did such an incredible job with my hair! It was my first time ever meeting her, and she was soo personable, funny, and kind. She listened to every detail about what I wanted and perfected it! She had a lot of knowledge to share on help with styling my hair, and did a treatment on me as well. I feel like a brand new girl. She was recommended to me by another incredible stylist and Iβm so glad I went with her! Will absolutely be back π

I would give them 6 stars if I could, best customer service Iβve ever received! I have a wedding to attend in 4 days, and arrived for my appointment to find that my stylist was out due to a family emergency. Even though all of the other stylists had bookings, they worked together to make sure my hair was done right then and there. The owner Holly gave me a cut, salon manager Hailey did my color, and Susy finished with red lowlights, shampoo/conditioner and blow dry/styleβ¦all in less than 2 hours! My hair was done exactly how I wanted, and looks and feels amazing thanks to these very sweet, incredibly talented ladies! (Bonus: my 13 yr oldβs reaction was βWow, I didnβt know having your hair done could make you look youngerβ π) Thank you all so much, you made my week!!!
