A little background for me… I always went to generic spots for haircuts, but once I let my hair grow out some I wanted it to have a little style and flow. I gave Nick a basic description of what I wanted and he gave me a cut that makes me look way cooler than I actually am! The service is top of the line and you’ll leave looking and feeling great. If you are in the Oswego/Yorkville area this place is a hidden gem.

This is so much more than a barbershop and a really great hair cut, but an experience that unlocks inner boss levels. My son was told to go here by his friends and with that first experience, I knew we would never be back at great clips ever again. He looks forward to each return. While Nick has everyone looking their absolute best and can cut all types of hair and styles, he really cares about his clients and makes those extra efforts to connect. Nitty Gritty HAS and WILL ALWAYS be our go-to barbershop. It’s not just about legit quality cut, but about the welcoming environment and vibes. My son and I first started going to Nick when my son was the age of 5. Each and every experience has been phenomenal and nothing less. My son loves going to Nitty Griity so much he looks forward to booked appointments because he enjoys his time talking with everyone and feels appreciated.
