Acupuncture for Weight Loss : Michael Moy, Chinese Acupuncturist

Dr. Moy knows! I went in skeptical as I have never ever done acupuncture. I had a constant headache since July 5th, I went through the gauntlet of doctors under my primary care, including neurology and imaging even to heart specialist to no avail. Medications were useless and wasted time and deductibles paid. Then a good friend of mine recommended we see his acupuncturist, had nothing to lose and Dr. Moy took me in same day and we had a quick talk and he had specific questions and he knew what spots to insert 2 needles and my headache was gone within 1 minute! What a wonderful feeling! I had Dr. Moy do a couple others areas and man I walked out like a teenager! This doctor cured me in 1 hour! Dr. Moy is so friendly as well and very humble for a specialist. Thank you Dr. Moy! I will be telling and bringing my family members here! I will be having a Happy Chinese New Years and enjoying my life again!

I have known Michael Moy since I was a small kiddo. My grandma would receive treatment from him, then my mom, and I have also received treatment. From my teenage years up until now (I will be 40 next year), Michael has helped me with a wide variety of ailments. He fixed my left knee when nothing else was working- I never had any issues after. Last year, he took care of my plantar fasciitis in my left foot and this year helped my right foot. The sessions have also been beneficial for immune boosts, sinus issues, depression, anxiety and overall sense of balance within my body. It has helped me reach deeper levels of meditation at times as well. I highly recommend giving Michael a try if you are considering trying a new holistic modality, or a new practitioner. He knows his stuff ;)

Honestly, I went into the experience very cynical and doubtful that accupuncture could provide any type of relief for the severe pain that I was feeling due to an injury on the ligament behind my knee.
I could not bend my leg and had to walk with the support of a cane. My aunt made me go in there and, quite frankly, I told Michael that I believed that an orthopedic doctor and weeks of physical therapy was the only remedy.
Boy, did I really eat my words later. Michael placed needles near, or on the tender ligament, connected electrodes to the area affected in order to stimulate the muscle and used cupping devices as well. Although it felt unpleasant at times, after just the first session, I could bend my leg at at least 50% more, and after the second session which was the very next day, I could bend my knee, I could walk without the cane, and I felt no more pain. I could not believe it.

What Would have been accomplished in weeks of physical therapy, was treated in merely two days. Incredible.

I recently started working a physical job and thanks to Michael, I did not lose it.

I started seeing Dr. Moy in March after experiencing foot neuropathy for one year. My GP said it was diabetic foot and immediately prescribed Metformin. I’m now pain free, off the Metformin. Also, my thyroid medication dosage had not changed in 25 years. My dosage now is significantly decreased. I can recommend Dr. Moy most highly.
