I can’t say enough good things about Ukrainian Village Vet. They completely solved my golden retriever’s ear problems and allergies after we had been struggling for a while. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about both pets and owners.
What really stood out was how thorough they were in explaining everything. They took the time to walk me through the diagnosis, treatment options, and next steps in a way that was easy to understand and never rushed. I felt confident and informed the whole time.

We love Dr. Butenko and all of the staff at this clinic! Dr. Butenko is friendly and you can tell that he really cares about his clients. We can also tell that he loves our pups. We’ve been going here ever since we moved back to Chicago in 2023. He always gets us in if we need an urgent visit, and regular appointments are very easy to schedule as well. He helped up navigate through cancer with our senior Chihuaua (she beat it and she’s doing great!), and he’s always super helpful if we have a quick question and need to call him. We absolutely love this clinic! Every time we come, the doctors and staff are so kind, gentle, and truly care about our little Frenchie. Even though it takes us almost an hour to get there, it’s always worth it. They treat our puppy like family and make every visit so easy and comforting. I’m so grateful to have found a place where we feel safe and welcomed every time.
