Everyone who helped was amazing, welcoming; we felt taken care of at such a time when we were dealing with our brother’s sudden death and we had hurriedly traveled from out of state to the Chicago/Skokie area to make arrangements.

We want to sincerely thank Donnellen for the beautiful send-off they provided for my mother. During such a difficult time, every step of the process felt seamless and was made so much easier for our family. Working with Jackie truly felt like working with an angel sent to us. She was incredibly kind, organized, and always easy to reach whenever we had questions or needed support.

The only lighthearted comment we shared was that the rooms could use some updating, but this was far outweighed by the exceptional service, attentive guest services, and the many staff members who were always willing to help. On a very cold night when the wake lines became quite long, they graciously opened an additional room so guests would not have to wait outside in the cold.

I can't begin to express thanks to Donnellan for the amazing ways they accommodated our send-off to my beloved husband. All staff were compassionate and professional, with special thanks to Kodee for help with planning and explanations, and to Michael who was available throughout to assist with anything we might need. This was our third experience with Donnellan, as they had managed the funerals of each of my husband's parents. Their family orientation was exactly what we needed to celebrate my husband's life. Kathryn and Rob were extremely helpful and compassionate. They were able to accommodate anything that we needed. They gave us a couple of days to collect our belongings and when we arrived to clean up, everything was already neatly packed. They have definitely made this hard time for my family easier by their professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond to help. Thank you so much.
