I took my dog to here because she was having stomach issues, and Dr. Samuel took great care of her. Everything was quick, the staff was very kind, and the price was better than expected. Great service!
I have taken both my dogs to Hometown Vet and they were received promptly and with care. Dr Samuels is gentle with my scared girl and really made us feel comfortable and cared for.
The very first visit to Hometown Vet in Schaumburg was so satisfying & reassuring. Our 2 mixed-breed rescues are now 10 years old. We contacted Dr. Makofski about worrisome aging issues. They both needed numerous teeth removed & each have their own cognitive issues.
First, Dr. Makofski intently listened to our description of the problems with each one of our fur babies. Her assessment superpower is maintaining eye contact with each one of us as dog parents! She outlined all steps & aftercare of the surgeries, appropriately using humor to reassure us. Her “bedside manner” is impeccable.
