On behalf of family members, I cannot thank the staff of Smith-Corcoran enough for their utmost professionalism, empathy and attention to every detail for the arrangements for my beloved wife of 50 years Pat. Starting with Karen on February 18th, my wife & I were able to plan for what we knew was coming. Karen and other staff members never missed a beat in planning, mainly with Pat, her visitation, her funeral and her entombment. During a very difficult time, Smith-Corcoran made our “sad days” worry free and stress free. Words cannot express our sincere gratitude for their efforts.
We had an exceptional experience at Smith-Corcoran in Palatine. Eric Urbaniak worked with my family to plan our dad's funeral details -- he was kind and helpful as we navigated the different decisions. Jay Smith was also fantastic to us during the visitation and funeral procession. The staff is top notch too -- Kelly and Sabine were great to work with. Thanks to all who helped make our experience such a worthy celebration of my dad's vibrant life.
The staff was terrific—helpful, accommodating, respectful. Everything was done in a timely manner & coordination with our Church & the cemetery was organized. We could not have expected a better result. My whole family really appreciated their efforts.
