    I love both Dr. Yang and her husband. Both phenomenal optometrists. I have been going to both of them for many years as well as my family. It's always a pleasure visit with them.

Dr. James Doherty took the American Vision franchise in Waukegan which was the beginning of our one hour service. In 1988 he opened the private practice AccuVISION in Lindenhurst. He took over the the American Vision on Michigan Avenue in 1995 and also converted the Furst Vision in Round Lake Beach to an AccuVISION. It has become the one of the largest opticals in Lake County. The Waukegan office was moved to its Gurnee Mill's location in 2000. This spring it doubled in size with its move to Saratoga Square. Mundelein was opened 2007. In 1999 Doherty bought out the franchise agreement from American Vision to avoid the payment of franchise fees that Pearle would have charged. Several years later those offices were renamed AccuVISION.
