A couple years ago I sprained my ankle and sometimes it bothers me when I go for a run. A friend recommended me to the place he had been, Fit For Life Clinic, to find out what I should do to take care of the problem. My experience there was excellent. My therapist evaluated my stride and muscle imbalances and asked a lot about my activities and exercise routine. My ankle problem is now better and I know what I should do so that it doesn't come back to haunt me again. Every appointment, I was in a private room with my therapist with lots of equipment that we used. I had undivided attention from her every time I went in. I didn't have a prescription to use my insurance for this so I was put into what they call their wellness program. It was cheaper than having to pay my deductible with my insurance. A win-win.

It was a way differnt experience here than when I went to other places. I went for a consultation about my sprained wrist and I really got peeps all attention. They had a big facility with tons of equipment when I took a look around. The big difference is that if I have to do any rehab, it's one on one not like other rehab clinics or physical therapy clinics that you have to wait and they are doing multiple appointments at once. One of the top on the north shore that I've seen for sure.

At age 35, I had experienced debilitating sciatic pain, limited mobility, and muscle atrophy due to two herniated lumbar discs. One doctor recommended surgery - the second said Physical Therapy. I chose the latter and was steered to Fit For Life by a long-time satisfied client. Susie and her team of PTs have now helped me for 10 years to manage my low back issues, strengthen my core, and get back to a pain-free, active life. When I arrived I could barely stand or sit without pain. Within 1 year, I was back on the golf course. It was hard work, accomplished with Susie's high-quality customized care, straight-forward, constructive lifestyle advice and passion for improved wellness. I still visit for an occasional "tune-up" and am always welcomed as a friend at Fit for Life!

I had wonderful results from my treatment at this great physical therapy clinic. The Fit for Life staff is experienced and tuned into their patient's needs. Before I went there I suffered from an extremely painful stiff neck. It had bothered me for years and was getting worse -- at times I even had to wear a brace. My problem had gotten so bad that I was concerned about my inability to look over my shoulder when I was driving. Then a friend suggested I try Fit for Life. It has changed my life. After a series of physical therapy sessions I have regained the movement in my neck. I now have complete mobility and no pain. Working in a private space for a full hour with your therapist is as good as it gets. I just wish they had longer hours -- it was hard for me to get there by 7:00 pm. Joan M.
