I have been doing pelvic floor strengthening prior to prostate surgery. I’m working with Jodi at 1st Choice. She is an excellent PT and I’m already seeing improvement just a few sessions in to the process. She takes a comprehensive and caring approach. I highly recommend both 1st Choice and Jodi as an excellent facility and therapist!

After hip surgery, I had the opportunity to work with both Linda and Jody. Each provided high-quality, intense and thorough physical therapy to help me through my recovery. While at your facility, I experienced a bit of vertigo and thankfully Linda was able to help me through that. One issue that I encountered was looking at your carpeting while experiencing vertigo. In my opinion, it really needs to be changed other than that, I highly recommend the office.

As an owner of 1st Choice Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers I was very concerned to see the reviews by Michael Etman, Cassandra DeSmet and Vera Atkinson which were all in the same week. After investigating this, none of these 3 people have ever been patients or customers of our business. They are all affiliated with the tanning place next store to our business. Their negative comments towards our valued employee was retaliation for our employee asking them if they could turn down the music. They were playing it so loud it was interfering with conversations between our Therapist and patients. We had to ask several times and eventually had to ask the landlord to intervene. Their response was to place these one star reviews on a business where they have never been a patron. Unfortunately there was not a way to respond directly to their reviews so I had to create this review to have the truth known. Please note that the people who have actually been customers have all given 5 star ratings.

I recently completed my physical therapy at First Choice Physical Therapy in Algonquin after having shoulder surgery in October 2013. I was told by my doctor that it would be a difficult, arduous recovery process. With Amy and her team of therapists help, I now have made a complete recovery. Their commitment to my total recovery was impressive. I never felt rushed or pressured on any of my visits. They always seemed to care more about my result. Having worked with other PT operators, I must say that First Choice made this grueling challenge easier and more achievable. Thanks Amy! Thanks First Choice!
