Kelley & Spalding did a wonderful job preparing my mother and me for her funeral. With complete compassion and empathy, they helped teach me (an only child) about all the complexities of providing a noble and dignified send-off for a mother who truly deserved the very best. It was such a difficult time, but the Kelley & Spalding staff made it as easy as possible for me and my grief. They treated my mother and her friends and family with great integrity and respect. Their facility perfectly accommodated our visitation and funeral. I will be forever grateful.
My father died in hospice care at home. When Kailey and Susan from Kelley & Spalding came to collect his remains, they were so lovely. Professional but compassionate and sensitive to what was obviously a very emotional time. My mom was so touched by the rose that was left on the hospital bed he had been in. In planning what to do next, we appreciated being informed of what the options were, but that we never felt pressured into doing more than what we wanted. And the checklist they provided of what notifications and things to check on as far as accounts to close, etc. was so very helpful. Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home has been wonderful to work with. They have made a challenging process as easy as possible and guided us through all of the details, despite contacting them on a holiday. We really liked that they only do one service per day, so we were not rushed or crowded. Their recommendations for a reception and officiant were both wonderful. Kaitlin and Kelsey went above and beyond helping to engage with our preschooler so we could fully participate in the memorial service. We recommend Kelly & Spalding without reservation.
