My experience with the staff at Warren Funeral Home was beyond wonderful. Every detail of my dad‘s memorial was handled with compassion, patience, expediency and excellency. Olivia and Warren Funeral Home in Gurnee helped to make everything personal for my father's funeral. We were so thankful for Olivia's encouragement and research to help us create a proper send-off for Dad. We are all grateful for the extra touches. Of course, the preplanning my parents did with Warren Funeral Home was instrumental.

Warren has now done 4 loved ones for us. The staff is outstanding. They help in every way. They were kind and polite and respectful of the deceased. They did not try to upsell anything. The 3 stars..well my MIL's funeral and burial was at Warren in July 2025. The room for the funeral had gnats and little annoying flying bugs. Yuckie. My BIL's body recently was handled by Warren and they did a great job. My only issue is again with the premises. The mausoleum chapel smelled like a dead rat. Now if I were the only person that smelled this, this would not be a review. But at least 20 other family members smelled decomposition or something not very pleasant. I couldn't hear the final prayer, it smelled so bad. We didn't have BIL's arrangements at Warren because of the bugs during my MIL's services. If Warren can sort out the cleanliness issue they would get 5 stars from me. I won't hold a funeral or memorial there but I will definitely let Warren prepare the body or do a cremation. Over 3 years ago we buried my nephew and FIL, and Warren was very clean. Are they under new management??

From the time my Father passed and I had to make the phone call to the funeral home they have been flawless, kind, and went above and beyond for my family.
Olivia is absolutely amazing from the time we sat down with her and her Staff, right up to her being there and attentive to my mother and I's needs. She was always there, answered every question or email. Her staff was on point with setting up food, pictures, and I was honored they let my Father's Harley next to his casket.
I highly recommend this funeral home to anybody. The personal touches and the little kind things is what made this so special.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about the team at Warren. By the end of the internment, Olivia felt like a best friend to the whole family. Seriously, she’s a wonder. Isn’t that the level of care you need in these devastating time? The whole team was courteous, thoughtful, and went above and beyond.

My family is so grateful for Oliva . We couldn’t ask for a better person to be in charge of my uncle . She generally cares and is compassionate and does things with a great heart. If you want to trust someone with your love one she is the person . She is patience, caring and sympathetic. She goes above and beyond and this is not just a job for her . She generally cares for people and their feelings and she cares for the ones who are gone . It takes a special person to be this kind when you are going through a loss.
