Amanda is honestly the two percent. Hairstylist myself, I always plan ahead to book an appointment because it's always worth it. She knows texture, head shape and lifestyle.Truly a gem!!!

My husband and I recently retired to Elmhurst after decades in NJ. One of the toughest goodbyes was to Annie, the hair stylist who had done my cuts and highlights since the 90s. After more than 100 visits, she magically stayed in my comfort zone while updating me enough to be current. I didn’t know how I was going to replace that. Fortunately, Amanda at Salon Efthimia saved the day. It took me three months to get the courage to go, and by then dark roots circled my head and my bangs were halfway down my nose. Amanda listened attentively to my preferences, and patiently scrolled through photos of Annie’s handiwork through the years. The end result? My hair was perfect....read full review

All of the fabulous women at this establishment know their craft. The new space is amazing, and everyone is so very nice and accommodating. My daughter and I love coming to Efthemia!!!
