I like the masculine, but not raunchy atmosphere. I am a woman who frequents male barber shops because most beauty shops will not cut my hair all the way off (the way I like it). Mark, once I explained to him what and why I wanted it done, proceeded to give me a perfect haircut with speed and precision - asking me questions along the way to be sure it was being done correctly. It was the Saturday before Easter and there were a lot of women in the shop with their sons. I also like that ALL the barbers never made them feel 'out of place' or disrespected them (which can and does happen in traditionally male establishments). It's got a 'in the hood' vibe to it, but I'm alright...read full review
