Was on the hunt for a new vet for my senior dog and my other adult dog as the vet we were taking them to was very far away. Dr. John and his staff were so helpful. I admired the care that Dr. John used when assessing both of my dogs during their appointments. I recently came in for an appointment and Mikey kept it very real with me and was very gentle with my senior dog. Appreciate everyone here and so happy we found a new vet hospital!

I took my golden in and the guy Mikey who insist us was such a great cool guy , helped us with everything, very respectful and funny. Made the whole process easy and ask for Mikey for help cause he’s a great guy :)

A very cold vet veterinary office no pictures of animals of clients only one dog allowed in the facility at a time for fear that they might attack each other never heard of anything so crazy. I’ve only been to two vets my entire life and I’ve never had this problem the cost of the heartworm flea pills six for 200 was beyond crazy. Frontline is a great brand I should’ve asked for a script, but we are going through a family tragedy now and a sip dog but in hindsight I wouldn’t go again. I thought this was a generic brand. I’ve never heard of it. $200 for six flea and tick pills is crazy And I had a concern about my dog getting rechecked. No appointment was set up when I paid it and was leaving. There was no goodbye. Good luck goodbye little dogs. Nothing definitely not a place. I would want my dog treated it again overstaffed I don’t think it’s needed. What is there? I’m used to the vet doing the work. A blood draw And everything else just in my opinion I was glad they were hoping that they don’t know if my problem is solved because it’s only been a few days but beyond overpriced.

We found Homestead Animal Hospital after a difficult stretch with another vet, and from the very first visit, Dr. John and his team felt like an answered prayer. Our sweet girl Winnie was about 2.5 years old at the time and had been struggling with recurring health issues that no one seemed able to resolve. But Dr. John took the time to truly listen, ask the right questions, and treat Winnie as more than just a case—he saw her as the deeply loved dog she was. The care he and his entire team gave her from day one was nothing short of exceptional.
Thanks to Dr. John’s guidance and the clinic’s support, we were finally able to get Winnie on a maintenance medication and into a routine that helped her feel better and gave us all some peace. Sadly, despite every effort, Winnie was ultimately dealt a rough genetic hand and entered end-stage kidney failure at just 4.5 years old.
Dr. John walked with us through every step of that heartbreaking journey. He made time for us, even outside of his regular schedule. He came to our home and helped us say goodbye with so much grace, compassion, and care. His presence brought us peace during one of the hardest moments of our lives, and it was clear he truly cared—not just about Winnie, but about us too.
Homestead Animal Hospital is more than a clinic—it’s a place of warmth, integrity, and love. Dr. John is a remarkable veterinarian and an even more remarkable human being. We are forever grateful.

I took my puppy to this place after being referred by Lithuanians. The vet was extremely helpful and took his time to answer my questions. Other employee Camille was amazing! You can tell that she truly cares about pets and people.

I know I've commented on homestead animal hospital before and like before, I gave a 5-star rating. Once again I just have to give that place a huge shout out on how amazing it is! The vet tech Mikey and I feel terrible because I asked for her name but there was another girl there that was extremely helpful and amazing in every way! The doctor, no words can describe on how he explains everything for you to understand and is very, extremely caring. All my animals will be going there if I ever have to make future appointments! Huge Thank you doctor and staff! I am blessed
