They are very gentle and do a neat job! I’ve been going here all of high-school and i’m on my second year of college and they’ve never done me wrong.

I absolutely love my hair! I wish I could remember my stylist name but she is the Truth! The Owner is really Nice! I didn't like how they kept trying to charge me extra for every little thing when I had already shown them the style I wanted but we were able to resolve quickly and that I can appreciate! I will be back and im sending people!

I got box braids (first braids for me!) and was very concerned that my head would hurt too much from the tightness. Mouna, who is wonderful and sweet, assured me that they would be careful to not braid my hair too tightly. I have mixed gray hair so they had to mix strands of gray with black, which they did beautifully.
All of the ladies in this shop are very considerate yet work efficiently. My entire head was finished in 4.5 hours. My relative in LA wants to get braids from Mouna the next time she's in town!

Made a last minute appointment ahead of an upcoming trip and Mouna was able to quickly get me in. The service was great and I was in and out within 4 hours. I will absolutely be back!

I had a great first experience at this shop—Muona got me in and out quickly with exactly what I requested. That initial appointment is what made me come back. Unfortunately, my second visit was a completely different story.

I booked during a sale and noticed afterward that my parts were larger than what I asked for, and the color was also off. I believe this was due to Muona and her daughter pre-mixing hair before I arrived, without checking in about the color. I have sandy brown hair and had requested color 4, but the hair used was noticeably darker. She did offer a discount for my next service, but to be honest, it wasn’t worth it.

What really rubbed me the wrong way was how unprofessional things became after that. She’s the only African braider I’ve encountered who requires a deposit—which is fine—but after confirming my appointment by text, she failed to mention it until the morning of, and then told me she needed to push my time back. When I arrived, she immediately tried to be aggressive about confirming the size I wanted, and her workers caught an attitude because I was clearly annoyed by all the confusion and delays.

I got there at 10am and didn’t leave until after 7pm. The worst part? Once I paid mid-appointment, the energy shifted completely. She took her time, left early, and left me with only one person on my head while another last-minute client had multiple people working on them. I later learned they split payment based on who works on which client—so I got the short end of the stick.

DO NOT pay before your hair is done. Also, don’t expect clear communication or consistent professionalism. I drove 45 minutes to be treated like an afterthought. Never again.

I love my cornrows/feed in braids. Famma does an amazing job on the unique styles from just looking at a picture. The salon is clean and organized and they never let me down! Thank youuuuuuuu!

I give them 2 stars only because I liked the outcome of my braids. I came here a few weeks ago to get small knotless braids since my regular braider was on maternity leave. Called prior to arriving to see if they had availability & the price. Was told to come in & for small knotless $300. Upon arriving I was seated & someone asked me what I was getting & immediately got a awkward face while turning her nose up looking at my hair. I know I have a lot of hair & my 1st time at a new braider so I was WILLING to pay more. Before starting my hair I was asked by 4 different people what I wanted & everyone consistently said, "you know it's $300" waiting on me to change my mind. I said I'm aware don't ask again I called in. They finally started my hair & another older lady was starting the back but proceeded to bash my hair SIMPLY because I have a lot. I'm looking at her thru the mirror talking to the stylist behind her while holding the back of my hair up & asked her, " why would you give me this." I remained calm through out it all while boiling on the inside because I needed my hair done. They completed my hair in 3 hrs. I really wanted to tip to the younger women who helped braid my ends but decided not to out of the RUDE treatment of the 2 older women. There is absolutely no way you all should be down talking any paying customer that's making sure your establishment stays established. Like my hair but DEFINITELY will not be back nor do I recommend this place if your looking for QUALITY customer service as a paying customer.

STAY AWAY! My braids are nice but this review is about the service. My first and last time coming here. My usual braider was booked so I came here. Two people did my hair. One of them was extremely rough and the other was a teenager who huffed and puffed the entire time because she clearly didn’t want to do it. Nobody wants that bad energy in their head. I asked multiple times for them to leave my edges out and they completely ignored me and did what they wanted to do. The first time I asked the woman she said ok I’ll leave baby hair. When she was braiding she braided all of my edges super tight and I literally KEPT asking her not to. The last time I asked I guess she got mad and acted like she didn’t understand English and had one of the younger girls translate to tell me she wasn’t braiding my edges. Also a Mexican woman came to get her hair braided and they laughed at her. Her phone rang and she had a ringtone in Spanish then all the women started laughing, talking in their language and saying Mexican. I don’t know if they understand that we say Mexican the same in English as their language but we clearly knew they were talking and laughing about her. They also braid EXTREMELY SLOW. My braider does my hair faster than them (quality at that) by herself and 2 of them did my hair! When I was done Mouna kept asking if I sent the $50 deposit, which I did earlier that day. “What’s your phone number? You sent the money? You sent 50?” Ma’am first of all I sent the deposit, and you should’ve verified that before they started. Second, I’m ready to go at this point and I’m not trying to beat you out of $50! Ugh never again!
