I had a very positive experience at Degner Dental in Belvidere on 2-7-24. The previous week I was at a different dentist in Rockford for an initial exam and to repair a chipped tooth and they told me I needed deep cleaning which accounted for the vast majority of their $2.5k detailed estimate. Since I have no dental insurance, I thought I would do some shopping around to see if I could find a reputable dentist to do the necessary work for a lower cost.I saw that Dr Degner got great reviews on Google and they gave me quotes over the phone that were definitely easier on the wallet. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They found a small issue and explained in detail to help me understand the best solution. I recommend this establishment to anyone in need of a dentist.

I have been driving well over an hour to see him for my dental care for over twenty years. His quality of care and work, with attention to detail is beyond compare. He's been a blessing for me and my family.Edit:My original review may have been over four years ago, but it still stands.Dr. Degner's skill, compassion, expertise, and care is still unparalleled.And his whole staff and hygienist bring me a smile (in more ways than one lol) with their wonderful attitudes and care. I've been coming here as long as I can remember, and plan to forever.
