First of all, what a lovely place of healing and hope!!! Michael, my acupuncturist is great at what he does! From the first visit where we went over my history of sports injuries and other symptoms from ailments, I noticed he really had good insights into how to use the information I told him to come up with an effective treatment plan. He has a way of listening and responding to concerns and positive changes in a helpful way. I've noticed I've released some emotional issues that were trapped and I've been less reactive in my life. I've finally been able to get rest and I've been having my go go go personality finally breathe. The lighting and music and ambient sounds in the rooms are special and make me feel at peace. The tables you lay on are very comfortable and relaxed. Michael has been very receptive to any changes I've had or fears, and has helped me feel like im making progress. Acupuncture is truly a healing process. I thought I was stuck feeling unwell before this, and surviving with hard work, but im starting to feel growth with doing less. I'd recommend Family tree holistic health to anyone who is in need of help with issues with the body and mind. The woman at the front desk Deana is very friendly and welcoming too. When I go there I feel like i belong and im growing into the best version of me.

I'm new to acupuncture but can tell after three sessions with Karissa that it was a good decision to come here. I see an improvement in my sinuses, my dry eyes and my sore shoulder already. Karissa is so kind and friendly as is her assistant Deanna. The office, sort of hidden in a maze of offices on Arlington Heights Rd, is charming and calming. If you are on the fence about acupuncture, give Karissa a chance to bring you that calming presence and help alleviate any pain you have.

Have been seeing Karissa for over 2 years for acupuncture and cupping. Both have helped me immensely with back and neck issues and have kept me out of the doctors office and off medication. Karissa’s is amazing! Anytime I have an ailment or just need a little encouragement for my body to feel better I come see her and I always feel so reassured and relaxed afterwards. I’m also a doula and send my own client to her for pregnancy prep too and they rave about how well taken care of they feel from her.
I wish I could bring her home with me to get me in such a deeply relaxed state daily.
For the record I am NOT a needles person but this isn’t what I expected, so gentle and calming. Would give 100 stars if I could!

I was diagnosed with arthritis in my neck. I was in chronic pain from my neck up through my head.I had limited range of motion along with a crackling sound whenever I turned my head. Then I found acupuncture at Family Tree Holistic Health after trying other unsuccessful treatments elsewhere.
After a few acupuncture sessions with Al , I started to experience great results.My pain dissipated and my range of motion greatly improved.I no longer have chronic pain. During the day I can honestly say that I am almost pain free. Not only is Al extremely professional and knowledgeable but he is very kind and personable.I highly recommend Al for acupuncture. It is life changing.

Karissa is amazing! She helped me with acupuncture during 3 of my pregnancies. She is so supportive and loving and her work helped my body especially when it was so uncomfortable. It helped especially towards the end! After I had my babies, Karissa was there to connect with me, provide a nutritious post partum meal and hold space during my post partum time to process my births. I recommend Karissa as an acupuncturist and doula! She is absolutely wonderful.
