Arlington Heights Animal Hospital

As always Dr. Flaska is kind and caring with our Chocolate Lab. She loves him and is very vocal about him coming in to see her. He is always patient and thorough with his exam. He listens to my concerns. We have worked together to get through many bacteria infections. He is clear with instructions and tries different approaches. This is our third Lab we have taken there over the years. The ladies at the front desk have been efficient,, tolerant of a barking nervous pup and when I have been in distress they have been very compassionate.

We have trusted Drs. Flaska and Kuhnle and their amazing staff with the health, maintenance and boarding of our pets for 15 years. We moved in 2020 and found we had many other veterinary choices closer to home, but we chose to keep coming to AHAH because of our excellent experience.

This is what happens after making a bad honest revire at this vet. Tragic

We were blown away with the service you get at this animal hospital. The team is wonderful and so kindhearted towards everything that comes through the door. Dr Kuhnle is a S-Teir vet period. She treated both of our cats like her own children. She is a very special person and someone we trust to treat our animals. Everything from answering all of our questions to performing physical assessments in the room as she updates you on her own pets brings a warm fuzzy feeling that you found someone who loves and adores all kinds of animals. Her years of animal medicine and experience are always on display as she is able to tame even the animals who put up the biggest fight. We love her and will always recommend her practice to anyone looking for a new vet.

Dr. Anita is great — she truly cares and always does a wonderful job. Unfortunately, the front desk lady with short hair and reading glasses is extremely rude and always has a bad attitude. I was leaving the room to check out and simply asked her for a glass of water for my sick dog. Instead of helping, she questioned me about where I was coming from and why I needed water. I told her my name twice, and she still acted annoyed. When I gave her a plastic cap for water, she slammed a little bottle of water on the table and after I thank her she stayed quiet and ran to the back room .” It’s so sad that someone like this makes the hospital look unprofessional and low-class. I honestly wish I knew her days off so I could avoid her completely.

They are well alstaffed and knowledgeable.

Horrible - puppy vomiting and other problems 5 days and called on a Tuesday, they would not see me told me to 1. take to emergency 2. wait until available appt on Thursday or find another vet.
2 visit - weeks later - puppy still having issues call give me 10:30 appt same day and then at 10:17 they call to say I missed appt and it was for 10:00 I told them no I repeated it to her told me I would have to wait if I came in. Came in waited 1 hour went out to desk and asked for a time frame - came in 2 more hours. Nope I left and will never return. Went back to Care Animal Hospital where I should have gone in the 1st place. They are relentless about storing your credit card info and I will not allow - they are very unhappy about that also 1st visit you need to give $100 deposit and it will come off bil after visit but they charge immediately. DO NOT TRUST YOUR ANIMALS WITH THIS FACILITY.

We bought two new iPhone 16’s. Ruben helped us out with a quick and painless experience. Would definitely recommend going to this store. Ask for Ruben!

Dr. Clow and the team at AHAH are amazing! They answered all of our questions (and believe me, there were a ton!) and took such good care of Oliver during his checkup. I highly recommend them!

I have been taking my Parrot Harley to Dr Scott McDonald for many years (Harley is 35 years old).
I followed Dr Scott M wherever he would see all different types of birds big or small forever.
I live 48 miles round trip from the Arlington Heights location where Dr Scott M works from now.
