Animal Clinic of Alsip

My experience here was great. The lady in the front desk is very kind. The vet tech was understanding and helpful with the vet for my cat. Would re visit again if needed. Definitely recommend for pets
and pricing is reasonable.

My cat was having allergies had taken her in July 21 like I always did they gave her her depo shot but this time it didnt work tried calling them several times to get in left several messages to no avail I ended up having to take my cst some where else because she had toren herself up so bad. Would habe thought they could call me and say doctor was out of tomw and another vet was seeing their patients but nope nothing. Still over a month later and no one has even called to see if I got it taken care of nothing dont feel they care about the pets if they did they would return tour phone calla

Decent vet care and great staff. One issue was not getting back to me again with blood work results so I could schedule teeth cleaning for my dog. When I finally called she claims she left a message but I never got one.

Took my shitzu in for grooming Thursday 8/21/25. Dropped her off at 9am, they weren't done until 4:30pm. When I picked her up she was very out of it, loopy. Seemed like she had been given something. She wouldn't eat and it took until later Friday until she would eat and was almost finally back to herself. She has been a bit skiddish too since then. Never again!
The vet has been pretty rough with my dogs the last few times I've brought them in for shots or blood work too. I don't know if the savings are worth it?

Great doctor! Very clean clinic! Employees were very nice.

They never answer the phone. Even if is the business hrs as instructed they dont answer or return your calls SMH 🙄

I’ve been going to Dr. McDavitt for about 12 years now. He is very smart, compassionate, always willing to give you the best of advice for your dog. The way he loves my dog, is amazing always trying to play with her to make it feel lighthearted. He can be busy but he’s amazing at his job. I couldn’t be more grateful to have a doctor like him to treat my pets.

I have been going to this clinic since our dog was a puppy he is now 3 years old. The clinic staff Dictors and the office manager Sharon are the best @ addressing all the pets needs who enter their facility in a caring , friendly , and compassionate way. This clinic is by far the best I would advise anyone who has a pet to consider them as a great resource to have their pets needs addressed. Harry
