The Iowa Recovery Room is phenomenal.It has a very peaceful overall environment.It is spotlessly clean and well appointed.Patrick owns the place.He's super cool and very knowledgeable.Iowa Recovery Room offers incredible relaxation and peace.Prices are very reasonable.Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Impeccably clean, soothing, mindfully stocked, and well appointed facility. Patrick, the kind and thoughtful owner, has created a real sanctuary at affordable rates. Flotation tanks are the perfect unplug to calm the nervous system, settle into the breath, release, relax, and offer the senses restorative stillness and silence. Your mind and body will thank you. As a U of I hospital employee, I am greatly helped by this form of self care. The membership rates are an incredible value so I signed up! Thank you Patrick for this gift to the community!

Went for a float for the first time yesterday. It really is an experience like no other! The rooms with the float tanks are clean, inviting and well stocked. I plan to sign up for a monthly membership and will be recommending to friends and family.

Iowa City's 1st Float Center! We have two float tanks and one float pod for relaxation and mind/body therapy, steam sauna, chilled loop water bath for muscle recovery, and a relaxation room with massage chair. We also have a licensed massage therapist in house to help relax and ease muscle tension. Come by and escape the every day craziness with the 'off switch to the world'.
