Edit - I think this place knows they suck based off the horrible response from the owner when responding to reviews- I told him my stepson to go get cleaned up and a trim for thanksgiving, he had long hair and rocked a middle part, he’s in college and doesn’t have a hairstylist. we’ve sent him to a sports clips for years for a trim up before family holidays. Well this time he came back butchered. The lady didn’t even decide to do even length so it looks like he just got out of bed. I asked him if he complained but he said he just felt bad for the lady because she complained about her finances and when she turned him to the mirror he realized it was over. Overall the lady was nice but if you’re someone who wants actual hair care and not a 3rd grade buzz cut attempt don’t go here, like seriously, unless you want your kids wearing a hat on thanksgiving. He said her name was Krystal, so Krystal please do better next time. We will never send our kids to a sports clips again. You really told my son while he was on the phone with me “That’s what you get for getting your hair cut once a year” maam we wanted him to look presentable. Thanks for punishing my son for us on my dime if you could tell us why that would be great because we’re dumb founded. I’m glad he’s young still, and can grow all this back hopefully fast. In conclusion if you go here, be ready to look like a butchered sheep in a training section.

We brought our 21-month-old, who’s usually terrified of haircuts, and I think her name was Kailee (apologies if I’m spelling it wrong!) — she was absolutely amazing. She made the experience as calming and positive as possible — letting him touch the razor to ease his fear, offering cartoons, and gently talking to him throughout. She worked quickly but carefully, and made sure we were happy with the final result. Thanks to her patience and care, what could’ve been a stressful visit turned into a great one. Wonderful job!

I love sports clips back at my locations I go to in Nebraska this one here in Dubuque probably the worst haircut I’ve ever had. However, the lady was super friendly and nice. It just was poorly done.
