Wanted to thank staff and nurses for taking care of me. Thet were so and a short wait. I really think the world of nurse practitioner Shannon Fry. Hope I spelled that right. She treated me for throat and double ear infection. I am feeling better. Her bedside manners and her knowledge was so great. I never had a chance to thank her. Please let her know. I had an elevated blood pressure that day. And she knew exactly why. Was so relaxed with her. Thank you.

When I am sick during non-normal working hours, or over the holiday, like this last time, I am thankful there is someone willing to treat me. There was no way I could have waited 4 more days to see my primary doctor. I have waited a long time to see a doctor at MercyOne Urgent Care (the last visit I was there for 3 hrs). But, the positive is that Shannon Fry, NP, listened, talked to me about my symptoms, and gave some suggestions to get through my illness as quick as possible. So, will I wait for a NP that will take the time to make sure I am ok? Yep. MercyOne sometimes gets a bad review from others, but they are always there when I need them. We had an excellent experience yesterday. We were greeted promptly and checked in right away. It wasn't very busy, so it was nice to get in right away but I understand that when there are more patients it does take some time. I always understand that.Shannen was our provider and Andrea was our nurse. Couldn't have asked for more attentive, kind, and caring people to take care of my daughter.Every detail was thought about and we were referred to ORA where we definitely need to be, but Initial assessment and treatment was very appreciated.Thank you very much much!
