I had alot of dark ink on my arm. old poor work, unbearable to look at any more. Poor choices of younger years. I visited a couple different artists and was told it couldnt be covered, so I went to skin worthy to get my arm blacked out. I met with gene who not only convinced me it could be covered but also took a black sleeve and gave it color. I have a few more sessions until it's complete or else i'd show it. But I promise when it's done I will be updating my review with photos. There are alot of great artists in this state and gene is hands down top notch. And who i will be getting all my work done by. (Alot of cover work to come)

Gene is amazing! I had a very vague but particular request for a memorial tattoo and he took the time to really understand my wants and created a piece beyond my imagination! The shop is beautiful and very clean

Got a couple tattoos from Gene Hootman, got one 3 years ago and it’s healed up beautifully. When i went in he was super friendly and outgoing, very easy to talk to and to work with, i gave him the choice of choosing what to do, only thing i wanted was a sleeve, and he exceeded my expectations. I will be going back for more work 100%. Super nice guy and beautiful shop. If anyone knows they want art but don’t really know exactly what they want. Gene can accommodate and make something beautiful for you. Or if you have an idea and want a spin on it, he can do that as well.
