This is a great place to go for physical therapy. I went here a couple of months ago for chronic back pain that I’ve had for several years. My last appointment was two days ago and I am a completely different person. In the pool and out, Shelby was able to help me go from severe back pain everyday to no back pain at all. My range of movement is so much better than it was and I’m feeling a lot more confident in being able to move and lift without worrying about pain.The staff here are also super nice, understanding and helpful. I had excellent results at Trail Point PT. Shelby worked with me twice - for my first knee replacement two years ago and currently she has been working with me on the revised knee replacement of the same knee. She is very knowledgeable, kind and patient - and always listens to what I'm feeling and having problems with. Being able to do the hydro therapy really made a big difference in my recovery. Shelby and Savannah (front desk) made me feel like I was family. I highly recommend Trail Point!

My experience at Unity Point Physical Therapy at Trail Point in Ankeny was a life changing experience. I came in struggling with going up stairs, severe hip pain and general weakness. At the end of 15 sessions, all physical issues were greatly improved. The pool therapy was so easy on my arthritic joints and allowed me to work on strength without aggravating my joints. Shelby developed a home therapy plan to continue to improve my overall strength. I will also continue water therapy at the DMAC aquatic Center by attending water aerobics.
