Kaleo is the only person I trust with my hair, and I’m not even on Maui full-time anymore! I still make it a point to wait until I’m back on the island twice a year just to get a cut with her. She takes her time and listens to what you want—she nailed my vision perfectly. It’s rare to find someone who gets it exactly right, and I’m so grateful for her. Excellent service and very nice and friendly staff. Did roots and haircut a few days ago. Very happy. Recommend 100% and will hopefully come back next time. The best thing I think was that they were so honest (I wanted to try to do a perm on my hair and they looked carefully at my hair and said my hair quality would not make that treatment). A friend brought me to Kaleo at Island Style when we first moved to Maui. Thank goodness! I had a fabulous hair stylist in Big Sky and she had cut and styled my hair hair the same way reliably for years. I am very particular and was beyond nervous about having to start over with a new stylist. Not only is Kaleo delightful, but she duplicated exactly what I'd had before and exactly what I wanted! I left a happy customer and have remained one ever since. Kaleo is an artist for sure and is a partner who consults with her clients and listens if you have a new idea or want a change. Recommend 100%.
