Dr. Kawamoto did a thorough evaluation of my injury and background medical history before beginning my acupuncture session. She was able to locate the specific area of pain. She completed the session by stimulating these areas effectively and giving me specific exercises to work on and strengthen before my next appointment. I have had success in managing pain on a previous situation with Dr. Kawamoto and look forward to my next session.
I visited HNL Acupuncture with some trepidation as it was my first experience with acupuncture and I don't love needles. Not only did Dr. Jennifer explain everything as she was working -- easing my concerns -- but pain from my "tennis elbow" decreased immediately. I can't say that it will work for everyone, but I am an absolute believer, am going back for follow-up treatments and highly recommend Dr. Jennifer.
