Reasonable wait time. Feels like a classic local spot. Came around 2 pm on a weekday & waited about 20-30 minutes on a holiday. Saw both an elderly (looked like a regular with how chatty he was) with a female companion and a young client; looks like it’s a good place for all ages to visit.
The friendly stylist that’s here on Mon-Tue. I overheard the conversation as a younger client was paying & chatting. She appears to be a requested one, that’s why she said she’s here on said days. The local I came with said he used to come on Fridays or at times after office hours, so he hasn’t seen this stylist before.

Mikey has been cutting my hair since I was in High school. Yes, the wait it's a little much but he's always busy that shows something. He used to be in Kalihi and many of us followed him. Mahalo Mike for always taking care of me!
I've been going to Mikeys for over a long time like 15+ years. when he was a LN salon in kalihi, If Im in need for a clean fade and a line up I can always count on them. Caution - the wait may be long. but its worth it.
