I appreciated the level of care that came across in all of our interactions, both toward my dog and myself. They spent a good deal of time reviewing prior history, physically evaluating my dog, and asking relevant questions. It came across as being thorough which I honestly struggled with at another Neuro (Blue Pearl).After my dog had a MRI the doctor did a great job of trying to explain things so it was understandable and digestible. It’s evident she’s very knowledgeable and informed. Most importantly, she was transparent about what to expect going forward. BVNS was able to diagnose an issue my 13-year-old Chiweenie has experienced since he was a puppy. It required an MRI, which was not cheap, but we've spent so much time and money over the years without ever getting a believable or accurate diagnosis that it was money well spent. I'll continue to take my dog to BVNS (now merging with Atlanta Veterinary Specialty & Emergency in Alpharetta) regularly (on a quarterly basis) for them to keep an eye on his condition. And of course, I'll continue to take him to his primary care vet. BTW, Wrigley has/had an auto-immune issues which damaged the muscle running down his back (tail-end). Dr. Akin and the entire staff as BVNS made us feel so comfortable and seen throughout our entire visit. We came in after an emergency vet visit a few days prior and were treated so well, and felt so confident that they were doing everything for our dog.
