I recently moved to Statesboro, and on the recommendation of a friend, who is a tenured professor at Georgia Southern, he suggested that I join. I have had two surgeries and onset of an immunocompromised disease in the past three to four years. I gained about 30 lbs, and my cardiovascular system is weak. 180Fitness has several classes taught by Courtney, Holly, Carl and Kate, and they are challenging and accessible to me despite my physical impediments. I do not feel self-conscious in their classes. They understand I may modify poses in yoga, body flow, or pilates. And I am encouraged to do what I need for my body. After missing out on several years of routine fitness, I returned to 180 Fitness Center and was greeted by Emily. Emily was extremely friendly and helpful in getting me all set up for my class. She was so kind as to escort me to the group fitness room. The body flow class with Kate was amazing as she was a great instructor. Awesome workout!!! Upon exiting the fitness center, Emily was still at the front desk to chat with me about my experience. Such a wonderful new encounter thanks to Emily and Kate!

Yesterday was my first class and I’ll definitely will be going back and recommending to others. Ms. Tracey was a great instructor! Very friendly and supportive. Also, the gym itself has a nice, welcoming atmosphere. The class was easy to follow yet a great, tough workout.
