Due to a referral from a friend, I was fortunate enough to start my treatments at Urban Skin Care Clinic. Maedeh was incredibly friendly, professional, as well and educational regarding various treatments options. She respected I was already using a product line and encouraged me to only add as needed. After a visit, I would receive a text message asking about my results as well as a recommended regimen. I have seen tremendous results with the course of my treatment plan. Maedeh never overpromised results. I noticed an improvement in my skin as well has my fine line and sun spots I acquired over time. Now I maintaining my results and look forward to my monthly treatments. My experience at Urban Skill was so positive, my teenage daughter is being treated. I have dealt with acne my entire life, but when I got into my 40s, I began also noticing sun spots, giant pores, and wrinkles. My experience during my laser hair consultation was unwelcoming. First, Maedeh kept staring at me like I was some sort of disease. I’m in education and had on jeans and my school spirit shirt, as I was sorting and filing preparing for the start of school. I’m beginning to think that she was trying to see what I could afford. I was interested in the Aerolase laser hair removal treatment because after researching I discovered that it was more tolerable and the reviews stated “pain free”. I also felt that she was trying to get rid of me, as she was being very negative about the Aerolase laser treatment stating that it will be uncomfortable. She then stated that I should get the Aerolase laser treatment package for my face to remove dark spots and for my chin hairs for $247 with membership. She contradicted herself by stating, “this would be painless” whereas earlier she stated it would be painful for the chin hairs removal in which according to her scheduling site is under $50.00. I will not seek treatment from her because (1) I felt that she was discriminating against me, and (2) I don’t trust her.
