Judie is super sweet and very knowledgeable about curly hair. At my 1st appointment Judie took the time to explain my hair texture and discussed the steps she was taking while she did my hair. She told me what I needed to do on my own to improve my curls over time. She even encouraged me to bring all my hair products and went through each product and explained what I should keep, give away or toss because the product was complete garbage and not good for anyone. If you are fortunate enough to get an her books (she is super busy and has waitlist) and follow her instructions, the results will be amazing. Wow, so happy with my hair experience today with Judie! First off, Judie is an amazing human and she gives such Joyful energy. I had so many concerns before arriving and I was truly interested in learning how to care for my hair. Judie took her time, she taught as she went through my hair. She examined my current products and shared why those products were harming my hair. She gave me a product list and taught me how to care for my hair and also what to wear on my head at night. I am so grateful that I found Judie and I am excited about my hair journey. I highly recommend Judie and Maribou Curls.
