I am a braider my self from NY, and was visiting my sister in the area when I decided to get my hair done while I was here, kadija took me in last minute, I showed her the style I wanted and the braids turn out even better than the pic. she was very pleasant, the environment was clean and she made sure that I was comfortable. She is the sweetest, most genuine lady ever! Braided my hair fast & was able to squeeze me in on short notice (which i really appreciate)! Along with that her work is really neat! She gets 2 stars from me because she did a good job on the style however NOT KID FRIENDLY! Her braids were too tight and my daughter was crying and saying owww and she acted as if she didn’t care. When I asked her nicely can she not braid so tight she had an attitude and was very unprofessional. Will not recommend for children.Response:First of all Just because my daughter is well mannered and not acting wild doesn’t mean she 13.when I got there you were already 95% done with her hair so why I waist more time letting you take it down? Your demeanor was very rude and unpleasant and you need more experience on how to be respectful and how to deal with kids. I guess that’s a difference from going to a shop to a house. Lesson learned!Service: Braids

One of the sweetest most kindest individuals you could ever cross paths with! Kadija is so very talented and has a heart of gold. She took me in last minute with no hesitation and literally preformed magik on my head lol…I came in asking for medium box braids and exceeded my expectations. Her work is so very detailed and neat! I’ll defiantly be returning to my stylist/friend thanks again girl! Keep up the amazing work??

I called for an appointment and all was good to start but the braider asked me to buy some gel for her while I was at the beauty supply buying hair. She said she'd reimburse me so I got it. She told me she'd call me with the directions to her shop as I was a new client. I waited and waited and once my appt time had passed I saw there was no accountability and decided this wasn't a shop I wanted to use. The braider called me over an hour after my appointment time asking me was I there? I told her I was waiting for her call as promised and had no idea where she was located but forget it now! She came back with a snarky remark that I would never be able to book with her again and I should have "reminded" her of the appointment she made!! I told her I never planned to book with someone who can't remember her customer appointments and it was a wrap. Not professional at all in my opinion

I was very impressed with Magikfingers hair braiding. The first time I went to just get cornrows for a wig. But I found myself wearing the cornrows and ditching the wig because the were so neatly done. The second time I went for gray Senegalese twist and they look beautiful. She’s on time and fast.
