The atmosphere is upscale but serene. The doctor and the staff are professional & very kind. I enjoy acupuncture, cupping, nutrition consultations, etc. The focus at office of Medical Acupuncture & Nutrition- Dr. Yu Kang is a person's whole health, physical, mental & spiritual. She reviewed my labs and found something my GP never even mentioned to me so I can start to take action now. The western medical doctors focus on treating the disease, and doctor Kang helps me to maintain my health with natural remedies.

It's unbelievable to me how uneducated people are these days. Ignore the bad reviews if you are serious about your health. I am experienced healer myself. Dr Kang works like an army of skillful, disciplined, surgically accurate warriors. I received cupping, and acupuncture needles with an incredibly soothing heat lamp treatment. Her technique is FLAWLESS. After one session I slept 10 hours and feel more calm and focused than I've felt in years, and I've done a ton of world class healing work. Her work is not for the faint of heart, so if you're a whiner, go to someone else who will coddle you. If you're brave, and you want to experience experience miraculous results, take a deep breath and commit to booking a package with the EXPERT: Dr. Kang.

Please stay away from this place! I was seeking acupuncture treatment for injury. When I got there, the consultation took almost 3 hours! Dr. Yu Kang took her time to explain the Care Plan, however at the end she tried to convince me to purchase a package for $860. I was only interested in acupuncture treatment, not the meal plan, B-12 shots and some of the other services that were added. I was charged $25 by Dr. Kang to write a prescription. I was charged an additional $50 for herbs I was never told of at the beginning. My medical insurance offered a discount, however Dr. Kang would not honor the discount. This place is more interested in making money than taking care of people's medical needs. I would never return back to a horrible place like this!

Two times I waited 45 minutes to be seen and then wasn’t seen because I had to leave to get ready for work. The Dr blamed her assistant. Poorly managed office. Colossal waste of time! It appears to be close to 5 star recommendation and I am unable to give 1 star. This Doctor does not value her patients or their time only so far as what she can do for them. My first appointment also lasted 3 hours, much of it was me sitting alone in an exam room.

Don't go there and waste your time and money. My husband was going there and for some reason he thought this practitioner was the best in the world and told me to go to there. Once I got there I got one of the worst experiences of my life. The cupping and the acupuncture were torturous. She ignored my cries in pain and burned me (from her carelessness). If you need acupuncture i highly recommend Rebecca Lantz @ healthspring holistic Center on N. Druid Hills.

If you want to go to an unsanitary office, with horrible customer service, a place that doesn't have AC or heat and have dried blood stains on the blankets then this place is for you! If you have an appointment and you have been seen, expect her to leave the room every 10 minutes because she has to take a personal phone call. The initial consultation is so long it bored me to death, it was over an hour, wayyyy too much information. I was told that the doctor doesn't clean the cupping after each patient and she reuses them which is DISGUSTING! When you get directed into the room to wait, she asks you to read her reviews because "how good they are" (big ego much?). The only thing I care about is getting seen on time and getting treated.

I was skeptical when I first started, but I'm a believer now. After undergoing treatment for my knee, I'm back running, basically pain free. Now, I go monthly, and after each session, I get the best, deepest sleep feeling refreshed and rejuvenated when I wake.
