I was happy to find that all of the good things said about Dr. Castanet were true. While his treatment was not able to help me, there was no promise that it would do so. He took a lot of time reviewing my imaging and history and referred me to another Doctor. Dr. Castanet is patient and very gracious with his time. He is easy to talk with and knowledgeable. Highly recommend the back strong clinic and Dr. Castanet. He truly cares about his patients. He is unlike others in this field where they will tell you to come in for adjustments whether you need it or not. He wants you to come in only as you need it. His methods really helped me recover from my first string of back issues. Unfortunately I recently injured my back in a different area but Dr. Castanet was my first call. I have been a satisfied customer at Backstrong clinic for around 15 years. I have struggled with lower back and neck pain since I was a teenager, specifically 3 herniated discs in L4-s1, sciatica pain, pinched nerves etc. I have tried all types of other treatments besides surgery, but the by far the most effective treatment I have found has been spinal decompression. About eight years ago, I moved to the other side of Atlanta, but when I’m experiencing back pain, I still drive all the way across town to see Dr. Castanet because he has the best equipment and he genuinely cares about his patients, something that is extremely rare to find in today. Dr. Castanet was recommended to my by my sister. I was diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis back in September and began treatment with him in October. His knowledge, professionalism, calming presence, along with the therapy has me in a much place physically and mentally. I'm walking and standing better than before I came in. I'm still rehabbing with him now.

I must say that Dr. Castanet is a wonderful human being. From the moment you walk through the door, providing the appropriate level of care needed is his ultimate goal. Before there is talk of payment, his concern is what bought you into his office, getting information on your condition, then the conversation begins on how he can help. I walked into his office after reading his bio and I was impressed. I suffered from 2 herniated discs. I was injured in May ‘23 and was seeing a chiropractor and a therapist. After 3 months I saw minimal improvement and 3 X-rays. I finally got an MRI and that’s when I discovered the injuries. Upon reviewing the MRI, I researched how decompression therapy was beneficial to some and I was reluctant to have any surgery. Dr. Castanet was very patient and fully explained how he could help my condition. I also was dealing with a lateral shift, meaning my hips and shoulders were not aligned. It was very uncomfortable to walk, sit, lay down, and even being seen in public was overwhelming for me. After 5 months of consistent treatments, giving constant feedback on my progress, doing daily exercises, eating healthier, and constant communication with the doctor, I can say he’s truly been a blessing in my life. I’ve gone from being in pain daily to very minimal today. No more pain medication, crutches, or back braces. I’m about 90% back to normal and steadily improving. I would HIGHLY recommend this gentleman if you are experiencing herniated disc pain. My journey took 4 months so I encourage you to be patient and remain positive throughout the process. I was suffering with depression because of the pain and Dr Castanet will contact you just to check on your progress and just to see how you’re feeling. I definitely can say he’s a friend for life and I truly, truly appreciate him and the service he provides for the community! A true professional along with a sense of humor!

Amazing person, Amazing equipment, 5 stars is not enough. This great man really cares about you not like some of the doctors out here that just want to give you meds so you can come back in a month. Also the people he surrounded him self with cares also, trust him with your problems.
